Darla is the worst, rude when i asked for help for my grandma. my grandma is unresponsive and had a fever and had not been checked. she seemed bothered when i asked for help to check on her, when i asked what the protocol was after we determined she did in fact have a fever she yelled saying she needs to check her chart. i called er. i DO NOT recommend this place.

If I could give 0 stars I would. When my father was sent to the hospital the calls we got from this place were to “secure his bed” to make sure he had a bed to come back to. Their physical therapy is a joke when they count the time that they are moving my father to the therapy room and back he was only receiving about 1/4 of the time he was supposed to be. My father had wounds and dressings that were supposed to be getting changed that weren’t being changed for weeks until my mother said something. The part that kills me is my dad was having seizures and the nurses would come in and look and say oh he’s fine. Come to find out he’s been in epilepsia status for a day due to edema from cancer. Do not let anyone stay here!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I wish to God I had listened to these reviews instead of thinking of the convenience of location. Please, do NOT send a loved one here! My mother lost 25 lbs in a little over a month. Their response – let’s stop her dementia and antidepressant medications. She was taking them BEFORE she arrived there and was a healthy weight. The worst by far though is that they claimed that my mom dislocated her brand new hip, BROKE not one but TWO ribs AND her back by lying in bed. They claim there was no fall and they didn’t drop her…. This is the worst place in the entire planet. She is so much worse now than when she arrived.

If you care about your parent, do not send them to a nursing home to begin with. You must advocate to get the proper care for your parent; otherwise they slip through the cracks. Overworked caregivers.

My mom has been there for almost a year, I have been trying to find her a different location but nothing available for her needs. she hates it there, her mind is still good and can communicate in her own way. She tries to with the staff too but they are too inpatient, lazy, young, immature and unqualified to be working there in my opinion. NOT all but most. You need to find better older, mature, qualified CARING help. Make sure they know that if this was one of their mommas or daddys, wouldn’t they want them to be treated well?

DO NOT GO THERE! If you love your family do not send them there! I was there longer than I needed to be do to being homeless and I had staff say that I was stealing snacks or taking more than I should. That the snacks belonged to the residents . Being accused of burning incense and being accused of all kinds of stuff. Uncompassionate about peoples life situations. Took away important medicine that my Doctor prescribed but had their doctor say I didn’t need them. What is sad is the some of the nurses and aids are great .so that helps but it isn’t worth it. Here are some photos of stuff I had to deal with . A shared bathroom and how they left trash from a COVID patient just left in the hallway .

This place is a joke!! 20 mins with a call light one and still no one answers. Patient has a broken back and told he has to wait til tomorrow to get a bedside commode or a riser to use the bathroom. So what he’s suppose to not use the bathroom for over 24hrs! if you love your family don’t send them Here!!!

A horrible place for rehabilitation! They practically killed my loved one. Please people stay away from here. Do whatever you can to take care of your family don’t let them come here. You have already been reported to state. The fact that my loved one was admitted to the hospital and family went to pick up his belongings days after he was not at your nursing home and he had passed. His bed sheets and floor was still covered with BLOOD ! unsanitary conditions, your staff are the worst. As an owner, make sure what’s going on with your business because your staff is going to ruin your facility

The first impressions of Prestige Care and Rehabilitation are the clean smell, look on the faces of the patients, warm welcome of the personnel, cleanliness in every room, and roomy surroundings as well as the room my husband was assigned. The staff was well organized and saw to his needs in an orderly manner. They answered our questions willingly it’s wonderful to know he is in good hands of people who care which is a relief and blessing to our family. LaDean Yost

My parent was here for an extended period and I can’t believe the stories of abuse I heard and saw. Seriously avoid this place you will either go crazy, be abused or die here. It wouldn’t surprise me if one day they are sued for everything and close. Would be for the best. Edit after seeing response from owner: Seriously don’t trust this place with your family. It’s not worth it. I’d rather personally take care of family than trust them. They can’t even track or manage medicines, treatments, other patients, etc. It is seriously scary how much they have gotten away with.

My Mom had a fall at home and was in the hospital and transferred to Prestige Care and Rehabilitation – Sunnyside. Alex, Admissions Coordinator reached out to me to coordinate my mom’s transition there. She took the time to hear, listen to my concerns and with her calming voice helped me with my mom getting there and set up. Once we got there Savannah Head Nurse met us outside and was so patient with me and helped me understand what the next steps were based on my mom’s treatment plan in the coming days. The transition was so positive. I spoke to a variety of nurses, front desk agents and a case manager in the coming days. They all kept me apprise of my mom’s mornings, afternoons and nights. I couldn’t have done it without the skill, knowledge and professionalism of the whole team there at Prestige. I appreciate each and everyone there. They work together, team effort and their priority is safety first for the patient. The level of care of these front line workers is outstanding. Thank you to all for helping my mother get better in safe, reliable facility. I highly recommend Prestige for any elder care or rehabilitation. Again THANK YOU, Alex, Savannah, Sofia, Nancy, Karen, Jamie and lastly Jessica and to the two CNA’s who brought my mother to me when she left. I appreciate each and everyone of you for helping all of our families loved ones!

My grandfather is there and they pushed the light last night because he needed to use the bathroom. 2 hours went by and nobody came. This is ridiculous what if it was an emergency. Now they are trying to say that nobody can stay with him from midnight to 5 am. They say it’s a policy of theirs but isn’t it a policy that you check in on patients. I will be contacting whoever I need to. Oh and the nurses are just laughing making jokes not even doing their job. Wish I could give them negative stars!

I rated this place a 2 only because I have seen worse and I feel that the room and cleanliness of the facility is huge, and sunnyside rehabilitation has done a good job of Keeping rooms and bathroom tidy. That’s very important. However, their care style is horrible! The average wait time is 45 min or more for them to respond to my dads call Light- meaning he needs help. What if he was choking or on the ground injured?! Someone could at least pop in and see if everything’s ok and say they will be right in. And the FOOD, the food looks like cat or dog food and is served cold to my dad in his room. It’s literally unbelievable that they think it’s ok to be served. I’m thankful my dad will not be having a long stay there, and I’m thankful there are places like this for emergencies but I feel a duty to speak out for the others who are not as fortunate to have family to speak out for them. Also, the therapy itself has been wonderful, I don’t think it’s a nursing issue I think it’s a facility issue that isn’t supplying enough staff or doesn’t have very good quality control. I wonder if they eat the dog food themselves?!

This place is joke! Some patients sometimes don’t get there showers, there some CNA that don’t answer there call lights and leave them on for while, then they wonder they they have lots of falls. When some patients complaining about pain we let the nurse know what going on with a patient and they usually won’t check on them cause there “to busy with the med pass!” If you got family there get them out and put them in some others nursing home that is actually good this one is not the best!

No. Just no. my grandfather was here and the conditions they left his room and him in was VERY UNACCEPTABLE! another patient had peed on the floor in his room and the staff never cleaned it up until the NEXT DAY! his room smelt like pee. When my grandfather wanted to go to sleep- it took the staff 30 minutes to come to our room! 30 minutes he was on the wheelchair and wanted to go to sleep- the nurses were chatting, laughing, giggling and gossiping. BEWARE YOUR LOVED ONE THINGS WILL GET STOLEN. Nursing staff admitted to taking things but still worked there. Then we noticed bruising on his arms and legs! I am speaking with a lawyer about this- with witnesses, pictures, notes and recordings I have.
